The Lady Tritons jumped on the Sidekicks early, with Olivia Leon Guerrero scoring the first goal just one minute into the match to put UOG up 1-0. Janiko Gogue of the Sidekicks responded with a goal five minutes in to tie the match at 1-1.

UOG then scored three straight goals, with Abigail San Gil netting two at the 9th and 19th-minute marks of the first half. Kailey Quidachay added the third goal in the 15th minute. UOG led the match 4-1 at halftime.

The Sidekicks mounted a comeback to open the second half, as Kimbeny Kono, Jenna Young, and Christina Duenas each scored within the first five minutes to tie the match at 4-4.

Olivia Leon Guerrero scored the winning goal for UOG in the 37th minute, and the Tritons held off the Sidekicks for the remainder of the match to secure a 5-4 victory.

UOG is now 1-4-0 for the season, while the Sidekicks fall to 3-2-0. The Lady Tritons return to action next Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. at the Astumbo Gym in Dededo.
