Dr. Ernesto Guades, assistant professor at the 91¿ì²¥'s School of Engineering, has become an ABET Program Evaluator for civil engineering. Selected by the American Society of Civil Engineers, Dr. Guades completed rigorous training to help assess and accredit engineering programs worldwide. His new role supports academic excellence at UOG and promotes regional advancement in civil engineering education.

The 91¿ì²¥ celebrated one of its largest graduating classes in Spring 2025, awarding 375 degrees across key workforce sectors including healthcare, STEM, education, and public service. With a keynote by Palau's President and inspiring messages from UOG leadership and valedictorians, the event showcased UOG’s growing impact on regional development and professional readiness.

The 91¿ì²¥ has appointed Dr. Hiroshan Hettiarachchi, Dean of the School of Engineering (SENG), to concurrently serve as Director of the Water and Environmental Research Institute of the Western Pacific (WERI), effective April 16, 2025.
