Else Demeulenaere, the associate director at the 91¿ì²¥â€™s Center for Island Sustainability, was officially hooded after successfully defending her doctoral thesis at the end of 2021. Demeulenaere received her doctorate through a partnership between the 91¿ì²¥ and the University of Alaska.
