UOG Horizons: Knowledge for Life Breastfeeding Awareness Month: Creating a supportive breastfeeding community for life-long health

Breastfeeding is celebrated each year on Guam through the hard work of community and healthcare partners to create a supportive environment for mothers, children, and families. The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) Non-Communicable Disease Consortium鈥檚 Breastfeeding Action Team (BAT) recently updated its vision to 鈥淏reastfeeding is a normal part of everyday life on Guam.鈥�
