Lady Tritons and Fuetsa end Triton League regular season with easy wins

 

The Lady Tritons defeated JusForFuns 71鈥�29. Despite a slow start, the Tritons gradually pulled ahead, scoring just 13 points in the first quarter to JusForFuns鈥� six points. UOG managed only 10 points in the second quarter but still held a 23鈥�14 halftime advantage.

The momentum shifted in the third quarter as the Tritons scored 26 points, led by Maria Duenas with 9 points in the period, while holding JusForFuns to just 4 points. UOG carried a 49鈥�18 lead into the fourth quarter and closed the game with 22 points to seal the win, 71-29.

Maria Duenas and Arriah Arceo both led the Tritons with 11 points, while Amanda Uncangco added 10 points. The Lady Tritons had 13 different players contribute to the scoring effort. Arceo led JusForFuns with 14 points.

The Lady Tritons finished the season with a 2-2 record while JusForFuns is 0-4 for their first season in the Super League.

In the nightcap, Fuetsa overpowered BallHers, racing to a 78鈥�35 victory. Fuetsa鈥檚 transition game produced a steady stream of layups, complemented by 9 three-pointers. They led 20鈥�13 after the first quarter and widened the gap to 41鈥�17 at halftime.

Elysia Perez led Fuetsa with 20 points, including 18 from a three-point range. Haley Banez added 14 points, and Cayla Williams chipped in 13 points. For BallHers, Aniyah Cruz scored 13 points, while Kristine Villena finished with 10 points.

Fuetsa closed the regular season with a 3鈥�1 record, securing the #2 Seed heading into the playoffs. BallHers ended 1鈥�3 and earned the #4 Seed.
